Personal Support Assistant

Join our team as a Support Worker - DSP Program and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
About the RoleThis position involves working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and advocacy to ensure their well-being and growth.
- Promote choice, provide appropriate support, and coordinate activities to foster individual well-being, growth, and development.
- Ensure that all services, programs, and guidelines outlined in an individual's ISP are implemented as assigned.
- Responsible for the supervision and coordination of daily living skills including but not limited to personal care, recreation, meal prep, and household chores.
- Ensure all trainings are current.
- Provide professional and timely communication with co-workers, supervisor, families and guardians and other team members.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license.
- Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office and the internet.
