Position Overview:


As a proactive leader, you will guide a thriving branch by demonstrating expertise across all operational areas, focusing on member success, team development, and the achievement of organizational objectives.

Establish strong connections with both new and existing members by practicing empathy and utilizing effective financial tools to assess their needs, relationships with money, and spending habits.

Inspire and mentor team members to foster relationships that prioritize members' financial well-being, ensuring that their financial needs are central to every interaction.

Educate members on the effective use of financial resources necessary for managing daily financial tasks and personal finance goals.

Collaborate with the Money Management Coach to implement Harborstone's comprehensive onboarding program, ensuring that every member maximizes the benefits of their membership.

Champion members' financial empowerment as outlined in the Harborstone Commitment Statement, focusing on everyday spending, savings growth, and responsible credit use.

Contribute to the mission of fostering vibrant communities by promoting Harborstone products and services to both retail and business members, while guiding team members in these efforts.

Maintain extensive knowledge of products offered across all business units and third-party services.

Engage with members both in person and through outreach efforts to welcome new members and connect with existing ones.

Branch Operations Leaders strive daily to empower all members through acquisition, activation, and retention initiatives.


As Risk Managers, they possess a deep understanding of risk mitigation strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard against fraud, loss, and ensure physical safety.

As experts in branch and transaction risk management, they provide ongoing coaching and training to their teams as the financial services landscape evolves.

They uphold the highest standards and ensure their teams are well-versed in all procedures and regulations.


This role necessitates effective communication with members, peers, and team members, whether in person, via phone, or through email.

Branch Operations Leaders mentor team members daily, using empathy and clear communication to emphasize individual growth goals.

They are responsible for cultivating a positive and engaging environment that enhances both member and team member experiences.

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

team member coaching and skill development, daily team huddles, member experience evaluations, and monthly development discussions.


The role involves managing a designated portfolio of deposits, loans, and members, while guiding team members toward achieving branch and personal objectives.

Collaborate with the District Manager to maintain an outreach program aimed at activating and retaining existing members.

Understand how to advocate for members and the credit union by clarifying decision-making processes and seeking optimal long-term solutions for member concerns.


Maintain focus on Harborstone's mission and make informed recommendations regarding lending, deposits, and service charges that balance member needs with cooperative goals.

Recommend products and services that align with members' financial aspirations and alleviate monetary stress by considering the long-term implications of credit and deposit options.


Develop strategies with the District Manager to enhance prosperity for members and businesses within the local market.

Lead community engagement initiatives that promote Harborstone's growth by participating in local events and partnerships, and actively supporting community programs.

Serve as an ambassador at community events to build recognition and share Harborstone's mission, prioritizing the understanding of local business members' key concerns.


Adhere to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards specific to the role, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, and Information Security protocols.

Complete required compliance training and product knowledge assessments as established by Harborstone policies.


Build trust with members and internal staff by embodying the organization's core values.

Consistently advocate for members, providing opportunities for financial equity and prosperity, along with the necessary tools for success.

Demonstrate value by effectively communicating the benefits of financial products and services to help communities achieve their full potential.

Lead staff efforts to embody these principles consistently.

Maximum:
$46.98

Education/Experience/Certification:
