Position: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a committed Medical Assistant to enhance our dynamic primary care practice. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the provision of healthcare services and managing patient care under the guidance of our medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document and administer care: Accurately perform and record diagnostic measurements, treatments, and procedures.
  • Triage patient inquiries: Address patient concerns either in-person or through telephonic/email consultations.
  • Patient interaction: Conduct interviews with patients and log vital signs.
  • Assist in procedures: Support technical procedures and prepare examination rooms.
  • Effective communication: Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate efficient problem resolution.
  • Medication management: Administer medications and monitor their usage.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough records of patient self-management strategies and progress.
  • Confidentiality: Uphold patient confidentiality and proactively address patient needs.
  • Patient education: Instruct patients on self-management practices to enhance health outcomes.
  • Professional development: Engage in ongoing professional growth activities.
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • CPR Certification is required.

Preference will be given to candidates with Spanish language skills. Certification in relevant areas is advantageous.
