Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/ Administrator to join our team at Aloma Healthcare, Inc. in Montgomery County and the northern quadrant of Harris County. As a key member of our team, you will provide in-home care services to individuals with disabilities, injuries, difficulties with mobility, or illnesses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality in-home care services to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks.
- Supervise and direct Caregivers to ensure excellent care is provided to clients.
- Conduct in-person training for Caregivers to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care.
- Conduct regular Client Supervisory Visits to assess client needs and provide support.
- Accurately maintain and complete client and employee records as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of client, employee, and company-related information.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in Client-Caregiver introductions.
- Perform duties of a caregiver in a stand-in capacity as needed.
- Participate in engagement events and activities to promote a positive work environment.
- Report any changes to client health, needs, or living conditions to management.
- Communicate with clients and their families in a respectful and professional manner.
- Treat clients and their property with respect and dignity.
- Chart client information in our electronic medical record system.
- Complete all required trainings and orientations.
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
- 30 WPM typing speed and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Pleasant and customer-friendly demeanor, self-starter, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently on your own.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 6 months).
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
- Supportive and compassionate attitude.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or Experience as a Caregiver.
