Account Administrator Job Description

U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners is a leading insurance brokerage firm seeking a skilled Account Administrator to join our team. As an Account Administrator, you will play a critical role in processing payroll deductions, reconciling accounts, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll deductions and remit payments to insurance carriers within contractual deadlines.
  • Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and escalate complex issues to Team Lead or Management.
  • Build relationships with clients' payroll departments and serve as an administrative liaison for client and insurance carrier communication.
  • Work with internal departments to correct errors and ensure accurate account information.
  • Generate and review reports, including carrier payment detail reports and account reconciliation reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
