Key Responsibilities:- Process payroll deductions and remit payments to insurance carriers within contractual deadlines.
- Reconcile account balances, research discrepancies, and escalate complex issues to Team Lead or Management.
- Build relationships with client payroll departments and serve as an administrative liaison for clients and insurance carriers.
- Account Reconciliation:
- Learn and become proficient using internal premium accounting software.
- Run Daily Account Balance report.
- Balance debit and credit transactions.
- Research and resolve when out of balance.
- Escalate complex issues to Team Lead or Management.
- Group Payroll Deductions:
- Work with internal departments to make corrections prior to submitting additions, terminations, and change reports to clients.
- Send discrepancy report to clients after account reconciliation.
- Work with client to resolve deduction discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Research and Reporting:
- Work/reconcile group reports weekly or monthly to standards defined by management as assigned.
- Generate, review, and send monthly carrier payment detail reports.
- Audit carrier invoices when requested.
- Education: Business/Accounting certificates, associate degree or higher in Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in customer-facing environment, insurance industry preferred.
- Skills: Microsoft Excel proficiency, critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
