U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners is a leading insurance brokerage firm providing employee benefits, compliance, and HR consulting services. We are seeking an experienced Account Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll deductions and remit payments to insurance carriers within contractual deadlines.
  • Reconcile account balances, research discrepancies, and escalate complex issues to Team Lead or Management.
  • Build relationships with client payroll departments and serve as an administrative liaison for clients and insurance carriers.
Essential Functions:
  • Account Reconciliation:
    • Learn and become proficient using internal premium accounting software.
    • Run Daily Account Balance report.
    • Balance debit and credit transactions.
    • Research and resolve when out of balance.
    • Escalate complex issues to Team Lead or Management.
  • Group Payroll Deductions:
    • Work with internal departments to make corrections prior to submitting additions, terminations, and change reports to clients.
    • Send discrepancy report to clients after account reconciliation.
    • Work with client to resolve deduction discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Research and Reporting:
    • Work/reconcile group reports weekly or monthly to standards defined by management as assigned.
    • Generate, review, and send monthly carrier payment detail reports.
    • Audit carrier invoices when requested.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Business/Accounting certificates, associate degree or higher in Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in customer-facing environment, insurance industry preferred.
  • Skills: Microsoft Excel proficiency, critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
