Position Overview

As a Guest Services Coordinator at La Quinta Inn & Suites, you will play a crucial role in enhancing guest experiences through efficient check-in and check-out processes, as well as by providing attentive coordination of hotel amenities and services. Your focus will be on maximizing guest satisfaction by promoting the hotel’s offerings and sharing information about local events and attractions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess a minimum of one year of experience in hospitality, customer service, or sales. * Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating a strong history of outstanding customer service or sales achievements in various sectors, showcasing leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, and Adobe.*
  • Exude a friendly demeanor, prioritize customer satisfaction, and have a solid understanding of the local area.
  • Demonstrate good computer proficiency and experience with point-of-sale systems.
  • Efficiently register guests upon arrival, utilizing up-selling techniques to enhance room rates; prepare for group check-ins, check-outs, and VIP arrivals. Welcome, register, and allocate rooms to guests while answering phone inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Address guest requests or concerns swiftly and amicably, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and following up to guarantee satisfaction. Employ creative problem-solving skills to resolve guest issues and achieve complete satisfaction.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks, including cash handling, documenting adjustments, miscellaneous postings, and check-out procedures.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives as directed by the management team.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
