Key Responsibilities

We are in search of a proficient and enthusiastic Telecommunications Engineer to become a vital part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will be tasked with the support and maintenance of our telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring peak performance and efficient resolution of technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of telecommunications systems, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and a collaborative spirit suited for a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities
  • Telecommunications Support: Deliver support for telecommunications systems, ensuring seamless operations and addressing incidents, service requests, and changes effectively.
  • Troubleshooting Expertise: Diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues related to telecommunications systems, utilizing your knowledge of protocols and network configurations.
  • System Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance, software upgrades, and patches to keep systems current and secure.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee the health and performance of infrastructure components, proactively identifying potential issues and optimizing configurations.
  • Configuration Management: Manage system configurations, ensuring all changes are documented and adhere to best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams to tackle complex issues and coordinate project implementations, while effectively communicating with end-users.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough documentation related to systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Change Management: Participate in change management processes to ensure minimal disruption to services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest technologies and best practices, seeking opportunities for enhancement.
  • Training: Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to support personnel and end-users to improve their understanding of systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-7 years of proven experience in a telecommunications role.
  • Proficiency in telecommunications platforms and systems.
  • Knowledge of VoIP protocols and network infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Industry certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices is advantageous.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations as necessary.
