Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Equipment Specialist to join our team at NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company. As an Equipment Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Engineering: Perform detailed equipment engineering for new network build outs and augments, including the creation of installation specifications, material ordering, and vendor coordination.
  • Database Management: Manage and update engineering databases to reflect new builds, adds, and decommissioning.
  • Project Coordination: Ensure all projects meet applicable engineering, financial, planning, and operational standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to track project timelines and facilitate on-time completion.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide guidance on network projects, systems, and processes, resolving engineering issues as they arise.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in equipment/detailed engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with engineering systems and databases, strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Leadership Skills: Highly motivated, self-supervised, with strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of telecommunications industry standards.
