Position Overview

Valard Group of Companies is a leading entity in the transmission line construction sector, renowned for its commitment to safety and excellence. We are currently looking for a qualified Crane Operator with a capacity of 40-50 tons to be stationed in Denver, Colorado.

Work Schedule: 28 days of work followed by 14 days off.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct operations in accordance with weight certification standards.
  • Perform routine inspections on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure the crane or truck operates safely.
  • Execute safe maneuvers involving personnel in a basket and various stringing tasks.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, including truck and crane documentation.
  • Carry out regular maintenance on the crane/truck, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of relevant federal, provincial, and municipal regulations.
  • Ensure proper loading, rigging, hoisting, and securing of equipment.
  • Operate all machinery in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with best practices.
  • Secure all equipment and attachments during transit or when left unattended.
  • Hold a Class 1 License.
  • Possess NCCCO Certification.
