WW Clyde is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and drivetrain components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues, using electrical and hydraulic schematics to identify and resolve problems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician.
- Proven experience working with CAT, Volvo, Komatsu, and other heavy equipment brands.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, including schematics and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel, with strong data entry and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
