Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Power Equipment Company. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Conduct regular inspections of heavy equipment to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use advanced diagnostic techniques and tools to identify and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Work closely with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide timely, effective solutions to ensure their operations run smoothly.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • CDL B License: Possess a valid CDL B license and a clean driving record.
  • Technical Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of heavy equipment mechanics, including diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess a set of basic tools and be willing to invest in additional tools and equipment as needed.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
