Job Overview

Valard Group of Companies is a leading entity in the transmission line construction sector, recognized for its commitment to safety and excellence. We are currently looking for a certified Crane Operator with experience in operating 40-50 ton cranes to be based in Denver, Colorado.

Work Schedule: 28 days of work followed by 14 days off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct operations in compliance with weight certification standards.
  • Perform routine inspections on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure the safe functioning of cranes and trucks.
  • Execute safe maneuvers for personnel in baskets and other related activities.
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation, including truck and crane logs.
  • Carry out regular maintenance on cranes and trucks according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of relevant federal, provincial, and municipal regulations.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly loaded, rigged, hoisted, and secured.
  • Operate all machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to established operating practices.
  • Secure all equipment and attachments during transport or when left unattended.
  • Hold a Class 1 License and NCCCO Certification.
