We are in search of a Senior Wealth Planning Consultant to enhance our team. The Advanced Planning department is dedicated to providing educational and consultative financial planning strategies to over 2,000 independent financial advisors. In this role, you will act as a technical resource for a variety of wealth management strategies, including estate and tax planning, charitable giving, social security strategies, education savings, executive compensation, business succession, and retirement income planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing estate planning documents to address inquiries from financial advisors.
  • Identifying potential challenges across various wealth management projects, such as assisting advisors in reviewing client estate planning goals, executive compensation arrangements, wills, trusts, stock options, and business succession strategies.
  • Evaluating client planning objectives to uncover opportunities that align with their needs.
  • Guiding advisors in managing client relationships and collaborating with other professionals (e.g., attorneys or CPAs), helping them maintain a strategic focus while navigating planning issues.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong research skills and the ability to assist advisors in developing client planning strategies.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and embracing a diverse range of disciplines daily.
  • Excellent written communication skills for crafting strategy articles, developing client presentations, and engaging in public speaking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • JD or CFP designation required.
  • Background in estate planning or prior experience in financial services is preferred.
