We are in search of a Senior Wealth Planning Consultant to enhance our team. The Advanced Planning department is dedicated to delivering educational and consultative financial planning solutions to over 2,000 independent financial advisors. This role will act as a vital technical resource for various wealth management strategies, including estate and tax planning, charitable giving, social security optimization, education funding, executive compensation, business succession, and retirement income strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing estate planning documents to address inquiries from financial advisors.
  • Identifying potential challenges across diverse wealth management initiatives, such as assisting advisors in evaluating client estate planning goals, executive compensation structures, wills, trusts, stock options, and business succession strategies.
  • Assessing client planning objectives to uncover opportunities that align with their needs.
  • Guiding advisors in managing client relationships and collaborating with other professionals (e.g., attorneys or CPAs), focusing on strategic planning and navigating any relevant issues.

Core Competencies:

  • Proficient in researching complex issues and confidently assisting advisors in developing client planning strategies.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while embracing a wide range of disciplines daily.
  • Skilled in crafting written communications and strategic articles, developing client presentation materials, and engaging in public speaking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required.
  • Background in estate planning or previous experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
