Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Government Jobs. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our staff and functions, serving at the counter and on the phone to answer inquiries and respond to complaints from the public.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide clerical and administrative support to City staff and functions
* Serve at the counter and on the phone to answer inquiries and respond to complaints from the public
* Review and route mail and phone calls to appropriate staff
* Process invoices, purchase orders, billings, time sheets, and office supply orders
* Collect fees and payments from the public
* Maintain records of revenues and expenditures
* Prepare and coordinate cash deposits
* File documents and records
* Reserve and confirm rentals of City facilities

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
