About the State Park Inns:
The Indiana State Park Inns represent one of the oldest state park lodging systems in the nation. We operate seven unique and beautiful facilities across Indiana, providing guests with an exceptional experience to enjoy the natural beauty and create lasting memories.

Nestled in the scenic hills of Indiana's largest state park, Brown County State Park, Abe Martin Lodge features 84 guest rooms, a restaurant, cabins, an indoor water park, and over 6,000 square feet of banquet and conference space.

Role Overview:

In this position, you will:

  • Maintain and organize personnel records, documenting essential employee information such as addresses, earnings, absences, and performance evaluations.
  • Compile and generate reports from employment records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Facilitate the entry of employee data into the time-keeping system and oversee the bi-weekly payroll submission process.
  • Provide information regarding personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and job applicants.
  • Process and verify documentation related to staffing, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Review employment applications to assess qualifications and eligibility.
  • Conduct audits of personnel files to ensure completeness and compliance.
  • Assist employees with enrollment in health insurance, retirement, and other benefits.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
