Overview: The role entails the independent and proactive management of designated Premier clients within Client Tiers 2 and 3 (High Net Worth & Affluent). Responsibilities encompass a variety of tasks including renewal marketing, addressing client inquiries, and conducting comprehensive annual reviews that include a detailed risk assessment of current and prospective exposures. The position requires adherence to essential functions and service standards as established by USI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve a minimum of 95% retention rate for Client Accounts through proactive engagement strategies, including outreach to clients who have transitioned their business away from USI.
  • Deliver technical expertise in insurance coverage and products, remaining informed on industry developments and changes. Employ a consultative approach to identify exposures and resolve issues in alignment with USI's Core Values and Standards.
  • Monitor renewal deadlines to prevent any lapses in coverage.
  • Provide recommendations for insurance programs tailored to client needs.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from underwriters.
  • Prepare necessary proposals and summaries of insurance.
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy in agency management and documentation systems.
  • Guide clients in submitting initial claims reports and facilitate swift responses from carriers.
  • Identify potential loss exposures and suggest suitable coverage options.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance, with a thorough understanding of all relevant coverages, underwriting, and rating principles.
  • High School diploma required; a college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Possession of a state Property & Casualty insurance license is essential.
  • Industry designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, or CPRIA are preferred, or a commitment to pursue further industry education.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Sagitta/WorkSmart is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing workflow to ensure efficient and timely processing of transactions.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively within a team setting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, legislation, coverages, and technology to enhance knowledge and performance.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, fostering cooperation and providing information and guidance to achieve organizational objectives.
