Job Title: Administrative Consultant II

**Job Summary:**

The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking an Administrative Consultant II to join our Technology Advancement Office. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing the university's intellectual property assets and supporting the translation of innovations into products, jobs, and businesses.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage the invention disclosure process, including outreach efforts to educate faculty and staff on technology transfer and stimulate the submission of disclosures.
* Evaluate invention disclosures for potential IP and formulate intellectual property strategies.
* Select patent attorneys and manage patent prosecution.
* Lead marketing efforts, including assessing market opportunity and developing recommendations.
* Negotiate licensing agreements and manage licensee compliance.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* At least 6 years of experience in a technology transfer office or similar field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
