Key Responsibilities
  • Invention Disclosure Management: Manage the invention disclosure process, including outreach efforts to educate faculty and staff on technology transfer and stimulate the submission of disclosures.
  • Intellectual Property (IP) Efforts: Evaluate invention disclosures for potential IP, formulate and execute IP strategies, select patent attorneys, and manage patent prosecution.
  • Marketing Efforts: Assess market opportunity, develop marketing strategies, and create marketing materials to promote University innovations.
  • Licensing Efforts: Negotiate agreements, manage licensee compliance, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
