Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager throughout all stages of the construction process.
  • Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs), submit them for approval, and ensure proper distribution.
  • Analyze and comprehend subcontract documents relevant to assigned responsibilities.
  • Inform management of significant project developments, including achievements, challenges, safety incidents, client interactions, and potential claims.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide project updates, secure approvals, and finalize change orders for modifications in the scope of work.
  • Assist in documenting changes and maintaining comprehensive project records, including correspondence and redline transfers.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Oversee project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial or multifamily construction.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks related to construction, including document control.
  • Experience in preparing submittal schedules for approval and distribution.
  • Support the Superintendent with RFIs, quality assurance/quality control documentation, and field operations.
  • Assist with preconstruction activities, including estimating and quantification.
  • Collect and organize closeout documents and punch lists.
