The Project Coordinator will ensure that Data Center infrastructure division is able to perform and support client's strategic goals. The operations coordinator will be a member of a team of engineers to provide support to the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Provide operations support and technical support for all current and future Global IT systems
  • Manage all Global IT shipments from purchase to delivery at final destination
  • Supports end users with incident reporting and investigation pertaining to data center equipment
  • Adherence to the administration of Client's Global IT security policies, procedures, best practices, and established standards
  • Participate in IT Infrastructure monitoring and updating ServiceNow as needed for project tasks
  • Execution / monitoring of tickets and status from the following systems: CloudIQ, ServiceNow, Equinix, VMWare Customer Connect, Lucidia and Dell various portals
  • Provide management with ways to improve administration, monitoring, reporting, and standard operating procedures
  • Evaluate data center infrastructure operations regarding life cycle management
  • Identify, submit tracking and monitor through the system all RINGIs and AFC's for the Global IT infrastructure division
  • Design, create, a document repository to organize and maintain all Global IT electronic documents not limited to infrastructure design, current state, contracts, SOWs job descriptions, products,
  • Manage current infrastructure equipment inventory levels by tracking purchases and decommissions
  • Provide tactical and strategic input for overall data center planning and related projects to include utilization of technology for cost savings or enhanced productivity
  • Work with vendors to assist with data center capacity and high availability requirements
  • All other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate degree or work experience
  • 2+ years of IT experience with a mixture of the following:
  • IT project management or coordinator
  • IT operations management or coordinator
  • Data center industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrate the ability to create cohesiveness of quality across all data center operations
  • Identify risks, offer mitigation strategies and manage the hurdles that can occur in operations
  • Preform that ability to escalate issues as appropriate and help ensure tradeoffs and priorities are well-understood
  • Experience working with shifting time zones
  • Heavy Experience with Microsoft O365 projects
  • Experience with Service Now is a huge plus
  • Experience in a global IT environment is a plus
