Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving safety, compliance, and process improvement throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain safety systems, policies, and procedures for our Stamford site.
  • Collaborate with other functional departments to enhance employee engagement and reduce at-risk behaviors.
  • Manage the engagement to improve KPIs related to safety improvement.
  • Perform risk assessments on operations and work with employees on risk reduction.
  • Lead RCCAs on near-misses and action items arising from JSOs.
  • Maintain all required documentation internally and externally, reporting on time.

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand related compliance regulations and how they apply to the facility.
  • Knowledge of Title V and Water treatment systems.
  • Knowledge of PSM.
  • Ability to lead RCCAs.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as EHS standards, operating manuals, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and government regulations.
  • Ability to write operational and project reports, correspondence, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization, including internal and external associates.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the EHS field.
