Safety and Environmental Manager

Charter Communications is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the strategic and tactical management of safety and environmental programs and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Conduct incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety and environmental risks.
Develop and maintain safety and environmental metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide training and guidance to employees on safety and environmental procedures and policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, or related field.
6-7 years of progressively responsible safety and environmental experience, including 3+ years of management experience.
Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and industry standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in safety, environmental, or related field.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Safety Manager (CSM) certification.
Experience working in a large company or utility environment.
Strong knowledge of the Telecom industry and its safety and environmental regulations.
Working Conditions
Office environment with frequent travel to field locations.
Exposure to moderate noise levels and varying weather conditions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
