About the Role
CLEAResult is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Vice President to lead our regional sales efforts and drive growth in the energy efficiency industry. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional growth plans, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Business Development Directors and Managers in assigned regions, providing guidance and support to achieve annual growth objectives.
- Develop and execute regional growth plans, identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality proposals and presentations to clients.
- Secure revenue-generating contracts with clients, leading negotiations and ensuring contract negotiation processes occur internally.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the energy efficiency industry, including legislative and regulatory environments.
- Drive team performance, tracking and redirecting performance as needed.
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new Regional Sales Executives.
Requirements
- 14+ years of experience in the energy efficiency industry, with a strong background in business development and sales leadership.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of the energy efficiency industry, including regulatory environments and client types.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
