Job Title: Senior Account Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team at Crucial Learning. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating sales in assigned accounts or portfolio through direct sales, networking, and marketing events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales in assigned accounts or portfolio through direct sales, networking, and marketing events.
  • Identify, develop, and expand key accounts.
  • Demonstrate strategic selling approach to identify, target, and penetrate companies with needs appropriate to the company's services and products.
  • Consistently engage in prospecting activities.
  • Qualify all accounts and ensure accurate information in CRM systems.
  • Work with senior leaders in targeted industries.
  • Develop winning proposals and deliver presentations.
  • Collaborate with other resources, when appropriate.
  • Stay current regarding the business issues facing all dominant industries in your portfolio and strategize how the company's services can help solve them.
  • Identify and understand customers' decision-making processes, goals, objectives, strategies, competitive situations, buyers and influences to build direct relationships and win new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree is preferred.
  • 7-9 years of sales experience in a complex business environment with emphasis on selling of intangible services to leading corporations.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or other ERP application.
  • Previous success in a Sales or Business Development role is strongly desired.
  • Experience with new business development and maintaining relationships.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; strong conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships from scratch and sell at business unit level in medium to large companies.
  • Track record of achieving revenue targets in a new business capacity.
  • Experience communicating and presenting at different levels within many businesses.
  • Strong pipeline analysis and opportunity forecasting skills.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Self-Starter and goal oriented.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Team player mentality.
  • An excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Must be able to attend in-person company events at least once a year.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
