Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director to join our team at Primrose Schools of West Woods. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our preschool program and providing exceptional care and education to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide superior customer service to parents and families, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all.
  • Manage the daily operations of the school in the absence of the Director, ensuring seamless continuity and high-quality care.
  • Assist the Directors with various management responsibilities, including budgeting, staffing, and program development.
  • Help drive enrollment growth and maintain effective cost controls, ensuring the financial stability of the school.
  • Ensure compliance with local childcare regulatory and licensing requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all students and staff.
  • Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Monitor and assist in the upkeep of the school, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all.
Requirements
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field, and/or at least two years' work experience in a licensed childcare facility, kindergarten, or early childhood program.
  • Experience in management, business, and/or public relations, preferred.
  • Ability to relate positively to young children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow with the school.
  • Passion and respect for young children, with a commitment to their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Team-oriented and effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
