About the Role

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join our Family Immigration Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our director and immigration counselors, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and excellent customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and maintaining a log of contacts and responses.
  • Client Screening: Screen potential clients to determine who may benefit from a consultation with one of our legal representatives, and schedule and assist with preparation for the consultation.
  • Referral Services: Provide targeted referral information to clients who cannot be served by our organization.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule appointments for legal representatives according to parameters set forth by the legal representative.
  • Financial Management: Collect fees for client services and manage incoming cash and non-cash payments, maintaining accurate records and receipts.
  • Document Management: Process incoming mail and other documents, update and maintain calendar and docketing information, and gather and organize evidence and client documents.
  • Communication: Provide updates to clients regarding case status, new appointments and interviews, and other developments under the direction of the legal representative.
  • Administrative Support: Assist legal representatives with tasks such as creating and organizing records, making copies, and processing mailings.
Requirements and Competencies
  • Bilingual Skills: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize multiple important tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with ability to learn other computer systems.
  • Self-Starter: Demonstrated self-starter with ability to work independently with little supervision and collaboratively within a team.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends required to accommodate family schedules, meetings, and special events.
