Position Overview: Insight Global is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Director of Childcare. This position involves overseeing the comprehensive operations of a childcare facility within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a nurturing and educational atmosphere for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties, including budgeting, marketing strategies, bookkeeping, and curriculum design.
  • Engage in strategic planning and ensure compliance with legal regulations while fostering positive employee relations.
  • Advocate for families and the wellbeing of children, maintaining effective communication with staff, parents, and the community.
  • Uphold the center's reputation through professional interactions and community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree that meets Colorado licensing requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in managing a childcare center or equivalent educational background.
  • Must meet the qualifications for Director as per Colorado Shines PDIS Credential Level 3.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience, ideally managing a team of five or more.
  • Experience in preschool management or similar roles is advantageous.
  • Proficient in managing financials, complex administrative tasks, and external communications with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in drafting communications and managing sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work professionally and supportively with children and parents, even in stressful situations.
  • Strong computer skills for internal communication and data management.
  • Physical capability to engage with active children and address their needs.
  • Must have applied for or obtained the Official Large Center Director Qualification Verification Letter, meeting state requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
