About the Role:

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving growth and profitability for Roush. This individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, working closely with account managers and sales channels to develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and lead strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Qualify and develop quality leads
  • Analyze national and regional sales and marketing data to inform business development strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute business development plans
  • Work with development teams to develop and lead inbound and outbound campaigns
  • Maintain and update activity in various programs to ensure effective lead management
  • Educate and inform customers of Roush's service capabilities
  • Nurture early-stage opportunities for future pipeline potential
  • Relay key market feedback to inform sales strategy
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams to identify market opportunities for growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business or Marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business-to-business sales
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, primarily domestically with some international travel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to manage corporate relationships with multiple facets
  • Ability to coordinate services across multiple departments
  • Ability to manage customer experience and drive revenue

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 5 years of experience working with the themed attractions/entertainment industry
  • Understanding of global sourcing process related to new attractions and sustainment of current attractions
  • Experience with ride systems and show systems (including Animatronics and Show Action Equipment)
