About the Role:Thinking Minds, Inc. is on the lookout for a seasoned and committed Senior Manager of SAP Financial Systems to enhance our client's finance operations. This position provides a unique chance to play a pivotal role in the evolution and oversight of financial systems in a vibrant and innovative setting.
Responsibilities:In the capacity of Senior Manager of SAP Financial Systems, your duties will include:
  • Overseeing the architecture, development, deployment, and governance of financial systems and applications.
  • Offering strategic insights on best practices and cutting-edge technologies for finance operations.
  • Coordinating and managing IT project outcomes by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the design and governance of SAP S/4 FICO and RTR business processes.
  • Creating and implementing new processes and system configurations.
  • Assisting in the formulation of the financial systems roadmap, including transitions to SAP S/4.
  • Playing a crucial role in the Finance workstream for the forthcoming migration to SAP S/4.
  • Leading the software implementation from solution design through to hypercare, utilizing both internal resources and external systems integrators as necessary.
  • Facilitating business process enhancements and technology support across various finance functions.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with finance stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with Cybersecurity to mitigate risks associated with software partnerships.
Qualifications:To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
  • A BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the implementation and/or support of SAP FI and CO modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP configurations, including GL, Profit Center Splitting, Intercompany, AP, AR, Asset Management, CO, CCA, Product Costing, Tax, and Treasury.
  • Experience throughout the IT project lifecycle in design, configurations, testing, master data management, and post go-live of SAP ECC RTR processes.
  • Familiarity with integration processes involving third-party finance applications interfacing with SAP and other systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience leading the functional design of finance systems during SAP S/4 implementations.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • SAP certifications.
