About the Role:Thinking Minds, Inc. is in search of a committed and seasoned Senior Manager for Financial Systems specializing in SAP FICO to join our innovative team. This position presents a unique chance to influence the evolution and management of financial systems in a dynamic and progressive environment.
Responsibilities:As the Senior Manager of Financial Systems - SAP FICO, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the design, development, implementation, and governance of financial systems and applications.
  • Providing strategic guidance on best practices and emerging technologies relevant to finance operations.
  • Planning, executing, and managing IT project deliverables in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the design and governance of SAP S/4 FICO and RTR business processes.
  • Developing and implementing new processes and system configurations.
  • Assisting in the formulation of the financial systems roadmap, including transitions to SAP S/4.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the Finance workstream for the upcoming transition to SAP S/4.
  • Driving the implementation of software solutions from design through to hypercare, utilizing both internal resources and external systems integrators as necessary.
  • Supporting business process enhancements and technology support across various finance functions including Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Internal Audit, and Cross-Functional Finance integration.
  • Managing relationships with finance stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with Cybersecurity to mitigate risks associated with software partnerships.
Qualifications:To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the implementation and/or support of SAP FI and CO modules.
  • Comprehensive experience with SAP configurations, including GL, Profit Center Splitting, Intercompany, AP, AR, Asset Management, CO, CCA, Product Costing, Tax, and Treasury.
  • Experience in the IT project lifecycle encompassing design, configurations, testing, master data management, and post go-live of SAP ECC RTR processes.
  • Knowledge of integration with third-party finance applications interfacing with SAP and other non-SAP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience leading the functional design of financial systems during SAP S/4 implementations.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • SAP certifications.
