We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Department Manager to join our team at Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific department within our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a high level of merchandise presentation and visual displays
  • Order and receive merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels
  • Train and develop sales associates to meet sales and customer service goals
  • Monitor and control expenses, including labor and inventory costs
  • Collaborate with other department managers to achieve store goals and objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience
  • Proven track record of meeting sales and customer service goals
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
