Job Summary:
The City and County of San Francisco seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Senior Manager of Sexual Health Programs. This key leadership position will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive sexual health programs, services, and initiatives that promote health equity and address the needs of vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage budgets, contracts, and grants related to sexual health programs, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Lead a team of professionals in the development, implementation, and evaluation of sexual health programs, services, and initiatives, including community-based services, training, and capacity building.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with community-based organizations, stakeholders, and external partners to advance programmatic goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage in community outreach, education, and advocacy on sexual health issues, including organizing events and activities in high-need communities.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of programs and services.
- Collaborate with other City departments and agencies to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts related to sexual health.
- Develop and submit reports, presentations, and other materials to stakeholders, including the City's leadership and external partners.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, leadership, and development in the field of sexual health.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining partnerships with community-based organizations and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $123,000 - $173,000 per year, depending on experience. The City and County of San Francisco offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement plan.
