Position Overview:
This role is home-based, ideally suited for candidates residing in Kentucky or Ohio, with travel throughout the designated regions. You will report directly to the Regional Vice President, Personal Lines.
Key Responsibilities:
As a representative of our organization, you will cultivate a comprehensive understanding of assigned agents' operations and employ effective agency management strategies to foster profitable multi-line growth. Your primary objectives will include:
- Engaging in proactive outreach to manage sales opportunities with agents through calls, visits, and digital platforms.
- Driving new business initiatives and ensuring agencies maintain a quality portfolio with our company.
- Collaborating with business teams to create and sustain a sales strategy that aligns with production and profit objectives.
- Participating in agency development planning and executing strategies to meet established goals.
- Building and nurturing relationships with agency staff to enhance engagement and commitment.
- Providing comprehensive training on products, processes, and guidelines to agency personnel.
- Utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) tools effectively to track interactions and outcomes.
- Analyzing agency performance and implementing action plans to achieve desired results.
- Gathering competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
- Attending industry events and engaging in overnight travel as necessary.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of one year of sales or relevant industry experience.
- A bachelor's degree, with prior insurance experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and corporate productivity tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- A thorough understanding of insurance regulations and market conditions.
