Client Relations Team Leader

We are looking for a seasoned Client Service Professional to become a vital part of our leadership team as a Client Relations Team Leader.

Under the guidance of the Hospital Director and Client Service Manager, the Client Relations Team Leader is responsible for a variety of complex administrative tasks that are essential for delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional client service. This role encompasses financial management, marketing and promotion of services, human resources, and other discretionary activities that support efficient business operations.

The ideal candidate is a dependable self-starter, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong candidates will possess supervisory experience, a positive attitude, a friendly approach towards both animals and people, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a deep understanding of the significance of outstanding customer service.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Preferred: 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in the veterinary field.

Work Schedule

The schedule for this position will be determined by business needs, requiring flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of client service areas within the front office and foster interdepartmental relations.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to staff, including addressing performance issues as necessary.
  • Assist the Client Service Manager with routine operations.
  • Address informal client complaints and maintain records of these issues for hospital management.
  • Ensure the efficient daily functioning of the front office by enforcing policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Identify potential challenges and recommend solutions regarding workflow processes and client service needs to the hospital manager.
  • Make informed decisions on behalf of the department, prioritizing the best interests of the hospital and its clients.
  • Guide employees and direct reports in their professional development.
  • Support the creation and execution of employee evaluations for front desk staff in collaboration with hospital management.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining reporting tools necessary for business management.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to clients and veterinary staff.
  • Act as a liaison between the front office and other departmental supervisors.
