Client Relations Supervisor

We are looking for a seasoned Client Relations Professional to join our leadership team as a Client Relations Supervisor.

Under the guidance of the Hospital Director and Client Relations Manager, the Client Relations Supervisor is responsible for a variety of complex administrative tasks that are crucial to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional client service. This role encompasses financial management, marketing and promotion of services, staffing and human resources, and other discretionary activities that support effective business operations.

The ideal candidate will be a dependable self-starter, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Strong applicants will possess supervisory experience, a positive outlook, a friendly demeanor towards both animals and people, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a deep understanding of the significance of high-quality customer service.

  • Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of client service areas at the front office and foster positive departmental relations. This includes training, coaching, developing, and managing disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Provide on-the-job training to enhance employee skill sets and ensure performance meets the organization's client service standards.
  • Support the Client Relations Manager with daily operational tasks.
  • Address informal client complaints and maintain records of these issues for hospital management.
  • Ensure the efficient daily functioning of the front office, including adherence to policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Identify potential issues, non-routine situations, workflow processes, and client service needs, and provide recommendations to the hospital manager.
  • Make informed decisions on behalf of the department, demonstrating sound judgment that prioritizes the interests of the hospital and its clients.
  • Mentor employees and direct reports.
  • Assist in developing and delivering employee evaluations for front desk staff in collaboration with hospital management.
  • Aid in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of reporting tools and queries necessary for business management.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to clients and veterinarians.
  • Act as a liaison between the front office and other department supervisors.


This position operates within a 24-hour Specialty & Emergency Hospital framework, requiring a 4-day work week with flexibility for evenings and holidays.
