Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Analyst to join our team at Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC). As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Office of Human Resources (OHR) with mission-enhancing human resources services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and consultation to managers and employees on all phases of the recruitment and staffing process, including interview and selection processes, and record management.
  • Manage the implementation of processes and procedures for hiring and placement actions, ensuring compliance with DIA regulations.
  • Process requests for personnel actions, set pay, and determine allowances, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion.
  • Contribute to the development of a strategic, collaborative, and enterprise-wide approach to talent management and acquisition, working closely with the hiring team to produce products detailing external hiring statistics and data.
  • Support OHR strategic hiring efforts with products that inform hiring decisions for OHR and DIA's Career Fields, ensuring alignment with agency goals and objectives.
  • Manage Official Personnel Folder (OPF) for agency employees throughout their employment, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Coordinate final disposition of records to the National Archive Records Agency (NARA), maintaining confidentiality and adhering to governing policies and regulations.
  • Process necessary OPM standard forms for transfer from and to agencies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate with the team on record management updates, as well as communicate to leadership via prepared weekly reports and metrics, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience providing HR support in a DoD or IC customer environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform technical and administrative assistance to support HR, Leadership and Talent Development, and/or Compensation & Benefits project teams.
  • Experience conducting research and analysis in support of a variety of HR projects, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including employees, managers, and leadership.
  • Outstanding customer-service skills and proven ability to work well in a team environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Experience identifying and recommending innovations or process improvement areas, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
