We are seeking a candidate with experience in specialty retail for the role of Assistant Store Manager. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing guest service, product presentation, and visual merchandising while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a business-oriented mindset to support the Boutique Team Leader. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development and retention of a high-performing, diverse team. You will inspire your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive sales through effective coaching. Collaborating with the Boutique Team Leader, you will analyze business drivers, optimize profitability, and ensure that visual and operational standards are consistently upheld.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Achieve business objectives by maximizing daily sales, managing expenses, and enhancing performance metrics through proactive sales floor leadership and ongoing coaching.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress to ensure expectations are met.
- Provide constructive feedback that empowers and motivates team members.
- Serve as a liaison between the Boutique Team, Field, and corporate partners.

Operational Knowledge:
- Enforce all company policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
- Assist in scheduling team members to ensure exceptional service and maximize sales.
- Oversee boutique opening and closing procedures.
- Manage financial transactions and secure boutique operations.
- Safeguard the boutique's physical assets through regular audits and inventory checks.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom effectively, including bending, standing, twisting, and lifting.
- Capability to work independently.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 lbs.
