Employment Status: Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Reports To: Principal
Role Summary:
This position is essential in providing administrative support to the school principals, ensuring the smooth operation of campus activities and educational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, providing information to callers, taking messages, or directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Input and maintain data in Powerschool.
- Utilize office equipment such as fax machines and copiers, coordinating repairs as necessary.
- Welcome visitors and callers, addressing their inquiries or directing them to the right contacts.
- Oversee scheduling and maintain event calendars.
- Conduct research to locate necessary information using various resources.
- Distribute newsletters, promotional materials, and other communications.
- Collect payments for items such as uniforms.
- Compile and manage student records.
Additional Duties:
- Generate reports or retrieve files as required.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the effective functioning of the schools.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent college credit hours.
- Strong typing skills and proficiency in Office software and web-based applications, including extensive data entry experience.
- Preferred proficiency in Spanish (both spoken and written).
- Excellent command of English grammar.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Alignment with the mission and goals of Christel House Schools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
- Capacity to focus on a computer screen for long durations.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 50 pounds.
