We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Alexander Thompson Arnold. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing various tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts & estates.

II. Key Responsibilities

* Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts & estates
* Become familiar with the Firm's policies and procedures
* Understand the rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of the AICPA
* Obtain a working knowledge of research techniques and the various research sources in the firm library
* Prepare corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns prepared by the firm

III. Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
* 2-4 years of public accounting experience in taxation
* Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects independently or with other staff
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Accurate mathematical skills
* Strong time management skills to meet deadlines
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of Firm and client information

IV. Work Environment

* Normal office environment
* Some work from home may be available

V. Equipment and Tools

* Daily use of computer, telephone, copier, scanner, and printer
* Use of multiple tax-specific software packages as well as Microsoft products
