Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and organizational skills. As a Senior Infusion Center Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex patient care issues and concerns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on infusion therapy and related topics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a positive and supportive care environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, healthcare administration, business administration).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of infusion therapy and related medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of Epic or Meditech electronic medical records systems.
  • Certification in a related field (e.g., CNA, LPN, RN).
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment.

Physical and Mental Demands

This role requires the ability to sit for long periods, use a computer and other office equipment, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. The ideal candidate will be able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
