Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Associate to join our dynamic finance team at Jobot Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and providing payroll-related support to our employees.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, reconciliation, auditing, and reporting.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
  • Compute employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
  • Answer staff queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
  • Handle changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles.
  • Prepare and produce reports on payroll activities and statistics.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current tax and legal requirements related to payroll to ensure company compliance.
  • Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing.
  • Provide support to employees and management through effective communication and customer service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Proficiency in ADP Enterprise Payroll and ADP Workforce is required.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, and 401K management.
  • Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
  • Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
