We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team at CVS Health. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team in providing a seamless experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in Prescription Filling Process: Participate in all aspects of the prescription filling process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide Patient Counseling: Offer personalized guidance and support to patients on their medication regimens and health-related concerns.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
- Offer Health Screenings and Immunizations: Provide health screenings and immunizations to patients as needed, promoting overall health and wellness.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Patient Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, adhering to all regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Assist Pharmacy Patients and Front Store Customers: Provide assistance to patients and customers with questions and concerns, promoting a positive and welcoming experience.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including DEA regulations and state laws.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing pharmacy inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering of medications and supplies.
- Active Pharmacy Intern License: Possess an active pharmacy intern license in the state where employed.
- Not on DEA Excluded Parties List: Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- No Pending Felony Charges or Convictions: Not have any pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
