Position Overview:
As a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Critical Care, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered pharmacy services. Your expertise will contribute to the monitoring of therapy, medication interventions, and education, ensuring optimal medication distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Pharmacist, your duties will include:
  • Providing patient-focused pharmacy services, including therapy monitoring and medication education.
  • Evaluating medication appropriateness based on patient diagnosis, allergies, and history.
  • Promoting rational medication therapy by reviewing orders against current literature and making recommendations.
  • Monitoring patient responses to therapies and documenting medication histories accurately.
  • Distributing medications responsibly and triaging orders to meet immediate patient needs.
  • Providing drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Supporting educational initiatives by mentoring pharmacy students and residents.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required. Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.
