Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate medication orders for appropriateness and accuracy.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals on medication use and management.
- Coordinate and perform functions related to medication compounding and dispensing.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements:
- Current Pharmacy license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- 12 hours of ACPE-approved continuing education per year.
