Key Responsibilities
  • Process orders for new and refill medications.
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
  • Address customer inquiries as needed.
  • Assist in filling medication kits under supervision, ensuring accuracy and adherence to aseptic techniques.
  • Verify preprinted labels and delivery manifests against source documents.
  • Retrieve medications from the pharmacy supply area, accurately count, and package them appropriately, including blister packs and vials.
  • Pre-package medications following established procedures.
  • Support various computer operations, including billing processes.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all equipment and workspaces.
  • Check equipment for proper calibration and safety.
  • Rotate stock as necessary.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is essential.
  • Strong data entry skills are a must.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
