About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned sales professional to lead our business development efforts and expand our advocacy brand within the government affairs marketplace. As a Director of Sales and Business Development for Advocacy Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective advocacy strategies that align with our organization's objectives and amplifying our message to key audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective advocacy strategies that align with our organization's objectives and amplify our message to key audiences
* Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers and specialists, to integrate advocacy strategies into broader marketing and communications plans
* Monitor and analyze policy developments and industry trends to inform advocacy strategies and make necessary adjustments to tactics
* Report on the progress of advocacy campaigns, assess their impact, and evaluate their effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes
* Establish strong relationships with clients, partners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to support sales and advocacy efforts
* Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics
