About the Role

Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in shaping our compensation strategies and ensuring that our employees are fairly compensated for their hard work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze salary data and provide strategic guidance to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness in our compensation practices.
  • Compensation Program Design: Partner with senior business leaders to design and implement compensation programs, including base pay structures, incentive plans, and recognition programs, that support organizational objectives and foster employee engagement.
  • Job Evaluations and Salary Grading: Conduct complex job evaluations and provide expert guidance on job and salary grading to ensure alignment with market trends and internal equity principles.
  • Pay Equity and Gender Pay-Gap Analysis: Perform pay equity and gender pay-gap analyses and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate compensation analysis findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with advanced compensation survey platforms such as Aon and HRIS systems like UKG.
What We Offer

Community Financial System, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $64,000 to $108,804 per year, commensurate with experience, plus potential for annual merit increase.
