Job Overview

This role is designed for a professional who will collaborate with leadership to identify and recruit for high-level executive positions across the organization, while also supporting the comprehensive management of the company's benefits programs. Key responsibilities in the recruitment aspect of this position encompass crafting detailed job descriptions, advertising vacancies across various platforms, and conducting interviews and reference checks on candidates.

In terms of corporate benefits, the individual will assist in the execution, management, and communication related to the company's fringe benefits, including but not limited to insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation. This position is integral to the corporate headquarters and reports directly to the President and CEO of a multi-faceted manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities in Executive Recruitment:
  • Draft job descriptions and create print and digital advertisements utilizing various media channels and job boards.
  • Build and sustain a network of contacts to aid in identifying and sourcing qualified candidates.
  • Engage with potentially suitable candidates for specific job openings.
  • Evaluate resumes, conduct preliminary phone interviews, and facilitate the completion and submission of applications from qualified candidates.
  • Assess applications and interview candidates to gather comprehensive work history, educational background, training, skills, and salary expectations, while providing insights about the organization and the role.
  • Conduct reference and background checks on candidates.
  • Uphold a high level of confidentiality regarding company, candidate, and personnel matters.
  • Leverage online recruiting resources to identify and attract qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities in Corporate Benefits:
  • Support the administration of the company's benefits programs, which encompass group insurance for health, disability, life, and retirement plans.
  • Assist in managing claims related to the company's benefits programs.
  • Oversee the processing of employee benefit claims.
  • Act as the primary contact for divisions regarding inquiries about fringe benefits.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee participation in benefits programs.
  • Help prepare and disseminate employee communications concerning benefits.
  • Contribute to the development and distribution of Summary Plan Descriptions.
  • Assist with monthly benefits billing, accounting, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare necessary government reports and documentation.
  • Serve as the liaison with external benefits administration firms.
  • Evaluate services, coverage, and options available through insurance and investment companies to determine the best programs for the organization.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in sourcing and recruiting senior-level professionals, as well as in benefits administration.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
